John Bryce Training China, a part of the Training Division of Matrix which has been active in China for approximately two years, has successfully completed a training and qualification project in the fields of software development and advanced programming for engineers and developers at the EMC organization in Shanghai.

John Bryce Training China has the skills and experience needed to fully custom-tailor and adjust development courses to the size and needs of giant IT organizations in China. The course instructor was David Sackstein, CTO for Microsoft Development Technologies at John Bryce. Sackstein, who has 13 years of experience in the area of software development and consulting, arrived from Israel to teach the three courses in the project.

John Bryce Training China relied on its many years of experience with research and development departments in giant institutions when it recommended EMC to take three courses which would enhance the knowledge and skills of software developers and lead the company to higher quality performance and greater efficiency. The courses were C++ Design Patterns, Principles and Tools for Secure Programming, and Methods and Techniques for Improving Software Performance. As part of the training project, John Bryce Training China instructed some 50 EMC employees at its site in Shanghai, which employs around 300 professionals. EMC has additional sites in China at Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong-Kong, and Taiwan. The entire company has approximately 4,700 employees.

According to Yoav Chernitz, CEO, John Bryce Training China: "As far as we know, we are the only training company in China able to deliver a project at this level. We are the only ones who could bring one of the top professionals in the field, on an international scale, David Sackstein, to teach the course, and the only ones who were able to deploy a proper training organization, including structured instruction materials and a proven learning methodology."

Here is what Bobby Lee, Director of Engineering at EMC's China R&D Center, has to say: "John Bryce just recently finished teaching the first series of classes at EMC's China R&D Center in Shanghai, and we are all very pleased with the results. With John Bryce, we were able to find great technical training classes taught by experienced foreign instructors that are catered to our audience of software development engineers."
