Franchised Businesses are responsible for $1.5 Trillion in U.S. alone (*based on a report by Price Waterhouse Coopers) sales revenue generated by franchises accounts for more than 40% of all business revenue.

There are currently more than 900,000 franchised business units in the U.S. and that number is expected to rise.

Stores and restaurants may be the first businesses that come to mind when you think of franchises, but in fact there are franchises in over 300 business categories.
